Premium WAGYU × ANGUS Beef.

Whole and half beef reservations for families who want exceptional beef, transparent pricing, and a freezer stocked with meat they can feel good about serving.

01
Genetics

We select premium 50/50 Wagyu × Angus cattle, meaning each animal is a first-generation cross with 50% Wagyu and 50% Angus genetics. This combination brings together Wagyu’s exceptional marbling and rich, buttery flavor with Angus genetics known for tenderness, beefy flavor, and consistency giving you premium beef with the best qualities of both breeds.

02
Finishing Process

Our Wagyu × Angus cattle are grain-finished for around 180 days, giving them the time and nutrition needed to develop excellent marbling, tenderness, and flavor.

Every animal finishes differently—some are ready sooner, while others need additional time. We focus on when the animal is properly finished, not simply the number of days on feed.

03
Transparent Pricing

No confusing bundles or hidden pricing. Our beef is priced by hanging weight, so you know exactly how your final cost is calculated. Your reservation deposit goes toward your total, and once we receive the official hanging weight from the processor, we send your final invoice with a clear breakdown of the cost.

Pick the portion that fits your needs. We offer whole, half, and quarter beef options so you can choose what works best for your family and freezer.

Secure your place with a deposit: $1,200 for a whole beef, $600 for a half beef, or $300 for a quarter beef to start your reservation.

Our cattle are properly grain-finished and processed. Future reservations require around 180 days of finishing before processing.

You are charged based on actual hanging weight: Whole $8.25/lb, Half $8.50/lb, Quarter $8.75/lb. Final totals may vary from estimates.

Your final invoice is due within 3 days after we receive the official hanging weight. Your deposit is applied toward the final balance.

What Does Hanging Weight Mean?

You are charged based on the actual hanging weight of your beef after harvest, so your final total may be higher or lower than the estimate. We estimate a whole beef at 850–1,000 lbs hanging weight, a half at 425–500 lbs, and a quarter at about 212–250 lbs. Pricing is $8.25/lb for Whole, $8.50/lb for Half, and $8.75/lb for Quarter. Estimated take-home meat is about 500–550 lbs for a Whole, 250–275 lbs for a Half, and 125–140 lbs for a Quarter. These take-home estimates are intentionally based near the 850 lb low end and primarily represent boneless cuts and ground beef. Packaged weight is lower than hanging weight because of trimming, deboning, moisture loss, and your final cut selections.

WALKER BEEF CO.

Walker Beef Co. was created from a simple frustration: grocery-store beef keeps getting more expensive, while the quality doesn’t always match the price. Families deserve a better option—premium beef with a clear story, transparent pricing, and confidence in where it comes from.

At the same time, there are exceptional ranchers across Texas and Oklahoma who know cattle. They’re great at raising quality animals and producing great beef, but reaching families throughout North Texas is a different side of the business.

Walker Beef Co. helps bridge that gap.

By partnering with trusted ranchers, carefully selecting premium Wagyu × Angus cattle, coordinating proper finishing and professional USDA-inspected processing, Walker Beef Co. makes buying a whole or half beef simple and straightforward.

The mission is simple: support great ranchers, bring exceptional beef to North Texas families, and provide a better alternative to paying premium prices for ordinary grocery-store beef.
